I am not sure what you guys saw but he was not off the ball most of the night. Wilcher started but Jenkins ran the point and Nova’s run in the first half
came with Jenkins on the bench with Dingle running the show.

This is coach speak. He knows damn well this defense is still growing and isn’t where he wants it. Our backcourt pressure isn‘t that good. Lavin’s first team was better at it, and most of Pitino’s past teams have been too. When we’re trapping in the backcourt and forcing those looping passes, then our defense is at its peak. Rick is setting up the rest of our schedule. This defense will be better in another few weeks.

We just need our offensive decision making to improve along with it.

I know he was announced at the start of the game but really don’t recall anything from him. Did he actually play much?

High praise for Sim with Drissa on the team. But I have seen it all year long - first one off the bench to pump up his teammates, always positive energy. Good kid. And can play. Happy to have him.
