I just worry about 20pnt wins.
When we lose, the team is pissed, they'll have a point to make, winning by 20, I don't want them feeling to good about themselves.
I even want them practicing harder after blowout wins.

Defense, and the corresponding effort, is your only constant. Hope that is sinking in and tonight’s game was promising because it was tangible evidence of Pitino’s comment after the Marquette game concerning the positive impact of the final 5 minutes of the “G damn, we came up short“ comeback.

Too weak and loose with the ball

Nova has go to guys. They either have no plan or no ability to go to those guys.
Pitino just undressed Neptune tonight, which isn't special, others have done it as well. Talked to a Nova fan about why they are so sure Neptune is the guy. Boils down to "he took a 2 win (COVID year) team to .500. And he's a Nova guy so he MUST be great.". They said he will be there for 2 years, I said I hope so, you can take your turn in the Georgetown barrel.
One observation about our team (which has been a season-long observation) is that our guards all struggle to get Soriano the ball down low. But Dunlap and Ledlum are able to do it. May call for a minor shift in strategy.

Jenkins is stronger with the ball don’t know what to tell you. If dingle had his usage it’d be 5 TOS a game

Big differences today…. Taylor looked to score, hit threes and even made a nice drive. If he gets going this team will be tough.
Agreed. Good crowds off a loss and a 3 game losing streak is saying something. Haven’t had that in a while. People are paying attention.
Our team hasn’t finished well in close games lately, but the signs are there. Just need to put all the pieces together better and more frequently. Tonight we took a punch and hammered back. Belt to ass (as someone said) on Nova for the second time. Would love to do it a third time in early March.
Our team has some real weapons and in a season without a dominant team in the country. And good defense is just fun to watch and keeps you in games. I like where we’re at and what we’re capable of. Keep it up boys!
