Villanova Game

28-27 Nova at the half. We are in a good position. Our best ball is usually in the second half.
 
Not sure if should I feel like we dodged a bullet there.. Chris got hurt...
We easily down big in this game. Our shooting, other than Greene looks really tight

Good take...he had the big guy on him. Not a good result, but nobody is doing anything in the half court. That has to change. What a freaking pass by Branch.
 
We hung in without obekpa, good job by the guys. Time for Harrison to make his mark on this game in the second half.

I agree. If you told me CO would be out 12 minutes in and that we only had 27 points, I'd figure we'd be getting our heads kicked in.

Only down a point? I'll not only take it, but say this style of play falls into our hands.
 
lavin with a brain fart...should have pulled branch after the 2nd fould....branch picks up his third, and lavin STILL leaves him in.


I realize branch isn't a huge part of our rotation but its all hands on deck...we need everyone.

Well I think we had alot of good looks that we just happened to miss. Kinda the same for Nova. I'd like to attack their pressure and traps a little more and up the tempo a bit. Pretty good job on defense overall. Have to stop 1 on 1 penetration so we dont give their shooters space

Do a better job on 'Nova's dribble drive. Actually, we started to do a bit better towards the end of the half.
