The last few times we played Nova we were underdogs in must win games. This time we'll still be an underdog- probably by an even larger margin than usual- but I think we'll play well because there won't be any pressure on winning.
That said Nova is playing for a 1 seed on senior night. I don't think we'll win and I'm fine with that. Tournaments are where it counts.

Don't know if it has been mentioned yet but Gus Johnson and Jim Jackson will be doing Saturday's game. I think Jackson is one of the best analyst.

Not going to see Stewart, Jones and Joey D if the game is close. Although Joey is a possibility if CO is in foul trouble. Lavin is going to try to win this game not worry about resting the guys for the Big East Tournament.
I don't think we need all that help. I'd love to see Coach give Amara 15-20 minutes. against Villanova. We will need him at some point if we are to make a run in either tournament. Myles likely has played his last minutes this season.
Balamou should get 5-8 minutes if possible as well. We need to be able to count on eight guys for the tournament...Balamou being #8.
I want them trying even if some players are not at 100%. Winning would really be something special, possibly the biggest win for this group. They'd be the lead sports story upsetting Nova's 1 seed and would finish the season in the top 25. It would also help separate us from the 8/9 line.

Winning this game would get Avon his 11 BE wins.
What we saw this year was a group of kids bail out the staff. Four guys played 40 and CO who finished up the game limping played 32. Needed the Marq. win and they got it. Usually the next game is the most important. My feeling is winning Thursday and being part of the Friday night show is paramount. Guys on the floor gonna play hard, but I would think getting them primed for Thursday would be the way to go. Is there a better middle pack game in the country then the BE 4-5 game?
