Jay Wright is a very classy guy and I know he didn't do it on purpose, but there was no need to leave his starters out there so long against the end of our bench up 25 with the tournament just a few days away considering the depth and size he had to choose from. The game was put away once they went up 16.

I think that will bite him in the ass big time if we get past Providence.

LOL Jack, you know how these guys are. This is what makes it so hard to be happy and successful as a coach at St. John's.

Coach Lavin and this team are having a great season...won four in a row and seven out of eight, but you literally can't make a mistake without 1/4 of our fans coming at you with incredible hostility.

I'm pro-Lavin but thought the effort today is not a good sign for the future.
 
A beating for sure, but I am just happy we made the run to lock up NCAA Tourney. Didn't think we could dig out of hole & grab big road wins at PC & Xavier. Imagine if this game determined getting a bid? There would be blog homicides.

Simply stated we are a talented, yet flawed team on the interior, but fun to watch most of the time. I think we are in Providence's head & will beat them. Do that & give it another shot v Nova with full squad. I don't think we match up well with them, stating obvious, but just give it your best shot.

well, let's deal with facts. WE ARE A 5TH place team in the BE and true, finally a berth in the NCAA TOURNAMENT . GOOD FOR THE KIDS, NOT THE Coach...

is 2 out of every 5 years to go to the tourney enough for you? If that is your criteria for this program, you are welcome to it! Getting blown out is never pretty, this was a disaster and eats up a lot of whatever good will you want to throw Lavin's way..
 
Jay Wright really stuck it to Lav today. Left most of his starters in deliberately till they were up 31. Nice job Jay. What a class guy.

Whiz, Jack and marillac can now put it in our face, since I want co to sit. The thing is though, he's only one big man. Ok, if he was in maybe they lose by 15.
