Versatile Aaron Scott

Can Scott be a three and D guy in the NBA? He's got the size and athleticism. While shooting three percentage isn't that amazing, his shot form is fine.... and he plays great D. It'll be very interesting to watch his professional career arc.

In amase's preseason poll, I picked him as our most likely to get drafted. NBA teams struggle to find guys who are happy to do the dirty work. Probably not happening but him sticking wouldn't shock me

People often talk about the NBA drafting totally on potential and everyone just running up and down shooting threes, no defense etc. It is true that when it comes to the first half of the first round you are going to see mostly underclassmen or international types with lots of "potential".
But it is also true that when it comes to late first, second round or undrafted guys who stick it is usually those guys who are willing to work, work, work and get in maximum physical shape. Good examples of undrafted guys sticking through relentless effort are Champ and Junior Alvarado. For those reasons Scott getting on a summer league roster and sticking would not shock me.

I want a bunch of SJU players on the Knicks. I want to start a “Red-Knicks” or “Knick and Johnnies”. The bonus is the second one sounds like a steak house.

Wish we had more than 1 year of Aaron. Always leaves it all on the court.

One thing I will remember most about him. When the final horn went off he went to the bench and hugged each teammate who was on the bench and got on the handshake line last. Class!
