- I think the man defense helps our kids at times to "reset" and avoid confusion this early in their career. It iss good to use on occasion, but I have zero doubt we'll be pushing zones heavily.
- Outside shooting hasn't been great, but I mean I think we had our walkon turned scholarship player thinking he was Larry bird out there. Overal, the guys that are going to be hitting treys are Harrison, Greene and Harkless. Remember we're playing with a little more than half the scholarship players of most D1 teams, and our only "shooters" are freshmen. VERy few great Hs shooters ready to come in after 3 weeks of practice hitting a high percentage. The only thing that will help our shooting is time, practice and more scholarship players.
-fwiw, I think Harrison has an excellent shooting stroke and within the next 2 years will be one of the most dangerous shooters in college ball. He has a lot to learn, but his quick release is amazing and when he learns the college game more, he'll be very good.
- mo is excellent, but in time needs to learn that he's better than most of the defenders guarding him. Can't wait to see him learn to create space and either hit threes. The face of his opponent or driving on them. Like Dunlap said, he still doesn't know how good he is or how good he can be.
