Hopefully we can use this game to get Jones, JDLR, Felix, and other bench players some serious experience and playing time.....we may need them as it is a long season....

What did Jordan do wrong besides one tough shot on in transition?

He's played good defense (see the block on the last defensive set); shot the ball well and made the extra pass. He's playing great. He has 2 assists, 2 steals, 1 assist on 4-9 shooting during the half - and no turnovers. I think all his jumpers have been on wide open looks where he's stepping into it.

He's done everything he's supposed to this half.
 
That was as dominating a first half ive seen since the duke game.

I agree. All of his shots have been open shots that just haven't fallen. And as always, great defense at the top of the zone.
 
After suffering for the last number of years, so great to see an opponent be the one with the "dear in the headlights" look. Hell of a first half performance!
 
Anyone think Pointer should get consideration for Big East player of the week?

Tulane is 9-2 with their only losses being their season opener against wake forest and then their last game in which they only lost by 9 at #13 Washington.

They are not a bad team....we are just playing lights out right now.
 
The most complete half this team has played all season. This teams defense has become relentless!! I want to see Branch take that 3pt shot from the top of the key more often. He can hit that shot. Pointer embodies everything that this team is about this year with his play. Jordan will be back next year, he must work on his outside shot. His defense is excellent as is the teams and he takes the to the and can beat his man off the dribble consistently, but his outside shot is really not there. Balamou even got some burn in the first half and played well in the high intensity defensive game and the open court fast break offensive game. That's where Balamou's strengths are anyway. It was nice to see him contribute a little. With a big lead hopefully in the second half, let's get Jones, JDR and Alibigovic some burn. We are going to need those guys and some point this season to contribute in the physical Big East. No let up now, let's close this out!!
