He's a chucker, Mase. With all those shots, he only averaged 8.8 ppg and he rarely missed FTs (85% on career). He is a career 30% shooter from three and 36% from the field. That is disgusting for an undersized volume shooter that doesn't guard or rebound particularly well. I actually thought he could be good after his freshman year at Rutgers.
He doesn't fit what we are building.
Admittedly didnt see much of him at Florida, at Rutgers he was a chucker, but it was somewhat acceptable with the talent around him. 8 Shots in 25 minutes isnt crazy for a two guard. His shooting % are bad but it was just one season at UF. Only played 50 minutes the year before. Would rather have Johnson, Ellison, Mussini, or Lovett, but if none of them I would take this kid.

Probably wants to go somewhere that he is confident will make the dance in his last year of eligibility. He was asked earlier this year (right after his suspension for slugging an opposing player) if he would transfer out at the end of the season since he would have his degree and one year left and he stated he was staying.
People change their minds.
I guess Seton Hall can scratch his younger brother Temple off their wish list.

This is probably going to be the end of Willard, can't see him lasting without a miracle season. Gibbs to UConn or ND is what I'm hearing. Apparently, Gibbs and Sina are good friends and it didn't sit well with him the way Sina 'left'.
