Things going south at Oregon? Did Artis decide to transfer and then was barred from activities or the other way around. Would want to know before you considered him, no?

This is Austin's second involvement in a sexual assault case and he hasn't even played a game yet. WTF is wrong with him. What part of being in college and drunk girls everywhere you look makes anything like this necessary? You'd think he would have been the first one out of a situation like that.

The District Attorney's office dismissed the case on April 14th, concluding that while the incidents occurred, the victim's inconsistent testimony was not reliable enough to prove anything in criminal court. Dotson, Austin, and teammate Dominic Artis are not currently participating in team activities with the Ducks."

You totally mis read my comment and anyway I was speaking in general terms not about this specific case which I know nothing about. Was responding to Marillac who said you don't need to engage in the type of behavior alleged to have occurred because there are plenty of drunk coeds around and my comment was meant to infer that you still can get in trouble with a drunk coed because she is incapable of giving legal consent to any sexual acts. Hope I spelled it out clear enough for you.
There are different levels of intoxication. A few drinks to make innocent mistakes and have fun is far from being unconscious or lacking the ability to consent. Anyone that takes advantage of someone that drunk has issues. A good rule of thumb...if it takes three guys to do anything with one girl...no good can come from it.
I couldn't make it through that transcript. If what she reported is true these guys are going to jail for a long time and deserve what the worst treatment possible while in there. This is not two people having a couple of drinks and fooling around. This was multiple guys gang raping a girl multiple times. All of these kids are 100% out of college basketball until this is resolved by the legal system. I can't imagine any team taking a chance on these guys right now.
