Transfers SJU May Get Involved With

Need we be reminded that over the past two seasons we have lost to teams composed of 1 and 2 star players? We also had a chance to sign a 7'2 zero star prospect because we were so stocked with 7 footers.

You really should give the Scekic complaints a rest until you actually see him perform. If he goes out and gives USF anything next season you can brag forever. But I sincerely hope you finally drop it if he averages 0.2 and 0.5 next season.

Don't get so bitchy Lisa. My comments were semi serious. On the serious side, we obviously lost to D2 teams with lesser starred talent. What is farcical is 4 months from now is we might be arguing the pros and cons of doling out a ship to a 6'3 walk on who will never get into a game. Between the 7 footer averaging 1 point and 1 rebound a game and $50,000 in scholarship $ to a practice player, I'll take the Sasquatch just for the sake of publicity any day.

If he was a grad transfer I would say yes. But not worth a 2 year investment.

Hope we close the deal on this kid
Big body, athletic and can shoot, rebound and defend
Paultz, does your gut say it's gonna happen?

I too am really hoping that he becomes the second very valuable piece of the important ( they are all important ) 2018 recruiting class. He along with Mikey Dixon would be a great though somewhat unorthodox start , as they are both freshman transfers. Would give the staff ample time to focus on the remaining missing pieces as this season we are guaranteed to lose seniors. Of course asking for commitments from Kieta and Little would be far too much for an SJU fan to dream of.

It was great to get unofficial visit from Little before he flies off to Italy apparently. The official visits are where rubber hits the road. Florida will be tough I sense, but very impressive to make inroads on kid no one heard much of a year ago.

Inclined to think so, but I am still suffering from "Kanteitis" :)

Never saw Little play in person, but from films, he appears to be much more of a physical presence on interior. More Artest like compared to Luther, who seems to be a combo guard. I also could see Luther playing some point in college. Both are very good players, but something tells me Little has more upside & he is really blossoming.

As well you should. ;)
I pay no attention to mixed tapes as they tend to show the shot made but not the other 3 he missed before that shot.
Funny how we are getting all exited about a guy 6'9 because of who recruited him and the fact he was once a 4 star high school player but he shot .27% from the field, .44% from the line and barley blocked a shot. So much for highlight tapes. I hope Lisa doesn't hold those stats against him as the 7'2 behemoth we passed on likely will average those numbers at USF. ;)

Diakite is 2018 also.

This article in 2014, when Cuse was looking at Keita, is interesting relative to his growth spurts. A guard one year & a PF two years hence;

http://www.syracuse.com/orangebaske...et_sedee_keita_grows_into_major_prospect.html

Wasn't Sean Evans a guard one year ? This will have Bobre really excited

he was a guard for three years, and then Lavin got a hold of him................. :)

The year Mike Dunlap tricked me into thinking Steve Lavin was a basketball God.

Yes he is but truth be told I am expecting very little from him in 2018-2019 as a result of his injury. We need a big man and another forward for 2018 in addition to a 2 guard.
