Not a good shooter and just can’t see him in Pitino system utilizing long guards who can stroke it. Maybe I am being too critical, but he reminds me of Jordon Riley, another athlete who can’t hit jump shots consistently. In three point game embraced by Rick I don’t see either fitting in

I don’t necessarily disagree. I’d like Kyle. But not at the expense of Dingle or as our only remaining guard addition.

I haven't looked back at the threads but man you would've thought the sky was falling when we didn't land these two kids
 
Last year at the final four, I had the opportunity to speak to Kyle Cuffe Sr and I asked him why his son didn’t come to St. John’s. He then points to my Iona shirt and says if Rick was the coach at St. John’s he would’ve gone there. Kid would be a nice pick up if he stays healthy.

Not sure why he has to be the only remaining guard addition. If Dingle comes he’d be our 5th guard. 6 guards on the roster would not be unusual and if it makes people feel better we can call Alleyne a SF.

Kyle Jr will want immediate playing time considering how long he has waited for his shot. Don’t blame him and don’t think that lines up here under Rick, just my opinion

Sounds like coach was a big factor so they chose…Ewing?

Also, if Kansas discarding this kid to get another player that they perceive is better isn’t an omen for Mgbako…

Might not have anything to do with Mgbako. Kansas may land Hunter Dickinson. They got Nick Timberlake and others in the portal. Good recruiting class already and some good players returning. He may just see the writing on the wall, regardless of Mgbako or not.
