I think Cliff would be a massive, massive upside. He does have a propensity to get in foul trouble. We'll need more, but he'd be a big, big start. My guess is we won't know for sure until NBA deadlines.

Cliff can defend the pick and roll especially after a switch. He prevents easy layups and offensively he can post off a screen/mismatch and score.

He’s an explosive player. I can’t imagine a better fit out there then him for Pitino’s style of play especially blocking shots.

You can pair him w zuby. He’s only playing about 25 min a game at Rutgers, averaging almost a double double.

Also everything I’ve ever watched or read on him speaks on what a great teammate he is. No brainer

There is a good chance that outside of RJ Luis, who started playing much better team basketball towards the end of the season, we need 4 starters to come in here.

This Clifford kid would be a good start at the 5. With Zuby backing him up, thats a real good 1-2 punch at center.

When we see SJU portal targets who don’t come with big ratings out of prep school, as Moose noted, UConn in last two years brought in Newton and Spencer, game changers. I think we get a well known name, but also give me basketball players who can shoot, defend, play team ball & fit w what Pitino wants to run.
