I get that. Tristen Newton went to UConn from East Carolina that was never a top 150 KP team when he was there. This is Cam Spencer's 5th year in college and this will be his first NCAA Tournament. Hassan Diarra didn't make an NCAA Tournament before transferring to UConn. Just a few examples

Would love Holmes but I think Booker will be cheaper. Or at least I hope he's cheaper because I heard rumors that Holmes was making in the 800s this season.
There’s no way Daniss Jenkins is “easily replaced” despite defense not being his strongpoint. He was our hammer of Thor out there most of the season and was nearly unstoppable on offense. “Easily replaceable” is certainly hyperbole when it comes to Daniss.

Sju79 already said Zuby, Wilcher, Luis and Brady are staying and Taylor is only one uncertain.

As much as I appreciate 79, this portal stuff changes second by second. Ricks going to have to have meetings with all of them and assess.

We didn’t beat anyone but Creighton all year. That’s almost unheard of even for our bad teams.Our guards need to be drastically better or we might as well accept the NIT bid now.
I dislike Jenkins as a player more than anyone we’ve ever had other than Curbelo. They are chemistry killers. Nobody will ever change my mind. It’s a discussion I’m happy to drop if people stop bringing me into it.
Holmes is great but I don’t think he fits what Pitino wants to do. Cliff does. I don’t think Pitino compromises again.
