There are hundreds of kids ending their own college basketball careers prematurely.

If you are a junior averaging 5 ppg at a low level, unless your coach is telling you to leave, finish out your last year there and get your degree. You are not finding an NIL pot of gold.

Actually, they are the last group of kids I would feel sorry for. Those kids are getting a free college education(ha ha ha) and it’s their choice to leave and take that risk. Remember the good old days when kids went to college to actually learn something?

If they don’t get picked up, they probably are not that good. We have seen marginal players get money to go to Blue Bloods to fill rosters.

I’ll save my “feeling sorry for” kids who have to pay their own tuition and parents who couldn’t afford it, not kids who were given an opportunity to attend college free and threw it away.
