Transfer Portal Mania

Would think SHU's lack of NIL is the reason for this
Don't think he's on many mock drafts and he can make much more than what Seton Hall can pay.

I know he wants to be a PG, but I think him at point forward with two legit combo guards would make for some beautiful basketball.

Discord makes me not optimistic about Cliff. Sees either 5th year at Rutgers or going pro.

Also get the sense he's not super plugged into STJ so take it fwiw

Whether he goes pro or hits portal seems related to how much NIL $ Rutgers has after signing three studs w big prices I assume.

Apparently they're trying to convince him that his draft stock/pro aspirations would be better with their guys coming in + he's not as interested in portaling. I find the latter hard to believe but that's just my intuition.

Believe he can't technically receive NIL due to his foreign status. Not sure if there are ways to get around that and if Rutgers has pursued anything on that front but that's not typically something you'd push the envelope on due to more serious implications beyond just an NCAA violation.

Regardless, Cliff is not in the mix here.

That is true re foreign status, thx for reminder

I think he's a point-forward as well, but he's John Stockton compared to what we have now and can definitely play Pitino's style. I don't get the sense that he doesn't pay nice with others. SH shares the ball a lot.

I'd prefer a Zakai Zeigler type alongside Sim or a combo guard that can play nice with others like Walter Clayton.
