The NCAA Tournament Thread

My beloved Heels (for the past twenty minutes) are closing out this victory. Matt A behind the bench was just ejected for leaving a black bag under MSU’s Booker’s seat. 😇

Would hope he had up to four black bags with him. You never know until you ask. 😁

They’re not. Very little space between 3 point line and out of bounds especially in pros.
Wear smaller sneakers! 🤣

Yeah in the corners, although one was under the basket. Does seem stupid to have 3 point line so tight in the corner.

Glass of wine prediction, if Iowa State meets UConn in their bracket they will give them fits and could even beat them. ISU is a well coached, hard nosed, veteran group.

Must be nice, Wagner and Michigan State in Charlotte. All the 1’s play basically home games. Then you might get …Grand Canyon!? C’mon Alabama at least. Arizona will be a problem though.
Who cares about all that. The fooooood !

Iowa State to Sweet 16, amazing how quickly their coached turned around this program that was struggling

I've watched about 300 minutes of NC state basketball this season and I'm always left with the same thought. When States Round mound of post play ( no charge Cbs ) is in the game and they want to get him the ball in the post, they simply do. Every single time. There's never anything the defense can do to prevent it. Meanwhile, in a better conference up north, it was like pulling teeth for us to get Joel the ball down low all season long and every defense prevented it. Besides the obvious reason, that Daniss is the worst basketball player on the planet, why is this?

Chaminade great Mike O’Connell may be one of the best entry passers to post in country, has 6 assists so far in NCState game. Mike really is a smart player who has helped them a ton
Let's get him to finish his master's over the summer and bring him home to start another degree.

Two other reasons are Soriano doesn’t post up strong and he doesn’t have good hands. Another reason was that Mark Jackson was out of eligibility.

Sorry, guess I'm a southerner now but I root for both UNC and to a lesser degree Duke (sorry Kranmars). Both of those schools which I visited when we were looking at colleges/law schools left very fond memories with us even though neither of my youngest two wound up going there. Realize this may disqualify me from redfans gatherings but having nothing bad to say about either Duke or UNC.
