Rooting for the kid regardless of where he lands. We have had kids in similar situations. Hope the best for him.
 
Seems like a very worth-wild kid. Would love to see coach Lavs befriend and help this kid out whether he chooses St J's or not. 
 
At the very least, we know he'll age well. Assuming the photo caption isn't a misprint, his mom looks great for 42. :cheer:

Doesn't sound worth-wild. Not wild at all. Sounds like a worthwhile kid. Actually sounds like a terrific kid. I truly hope he succeeds and overcomes everything life has thrown at him. That's the true test of greatness.
 
Would love to see this kid suiting up for us next season.  
He could be perfect to step in Dlo's shoes when he moves on to the league.
A real touching story and I truly hope he makes it.

Good catch. I spell checked and guess did not pay close enough attention. Regardlees (Ralph Kramden reference) like this kid very much and would love to see him eventually become a Johnnie. (Hope I didn't make any more errors). :lol:

Don't usually pester people about typos. But since it affected the meaning, I thought why not. Nice to hear about a kid who has had so many opportunities to make the wild choices (dropping out, gangs, drugs) who has instead made the tougher but more constructive choices about his life. i suspect there's a very strong, caring mother behind all that.
