We must lead the league in techs this year its crazy how the refs told hose us almost every game, i do admit we don't do anything to help ourselves!
 
It does seem like we are the only team that gets no calls on our home court. Mullin must not be well liked or respected. We need to figure out why this is the case.
 
I hate arguing and complaining to referees, but how could you expect someone to play or coach in part of this and not? Ponds literally had 2 fantastic defensive plays stripped from him on anticipated foul cAlls that resulted in 4 free throws. Did we even shoot 4 free throws?

Pretty sure someone on the staff banged a refs wife at some point. That's the only way to explain why the refs always fuck us

Agree. Mullin was on the refs the entire game. He does this almost every game. I'm afraid he has gotten a reputation among the refs & is on a much shorter leash. This team is not good enough to give points away via technicals. They are also not deep enough to constantly commit technicals. Very frustrating loss.
 
Guys, refs didn't cost us this game. Maybe if our coach and players (especially Shamorie) stop whining we will get some calls. Our subs were a lot better than our starters tonight.

The FT were 33 - 5 and we were at home.

I'm sorry but do you guys watch other teams besides ours? Just last night, Jay Wright was riding the refs all night. This happens all over the country.
 
It's clear that the big east refs don't like Mullin. Coaching box?? Show me ANY game where the coach keeps in the confines. CM needs a different approach with the refs, this one's clearly not going to work.

What is not known is what does he actually SAY to the refs? He needs to know what he can get away with, as I suspect Wright does.

Mullin doesn't have that credibility.
 
The refs probably have a website refmen.com where they have threads dedicated to screwing us

Mullin and Ponds are a far cry from Jim Calhoun and WoJo and the younger Jim Boeheim.

Zach B. is basically saying on his twitter feed that the refs had a right to have retribution because of our constant complaining. It's nothing compared to the old Big East. I seem to remember PJ Carlesimo at half court lambasting refs.

Ridiculous if the refs are "teaching us a lesson".
 
Nobody knows what the players say or Mullin for that matter. If you say something out of line. Especially over and over again I have no qualms about the officials holding us to a shorter leash

That said, Mullin and Ponds have been digging themselves a hole with the refs for a long time. It does matter.
