Syracuse

Interesting that Syracuse was undefeated when Coleman went down and have now lost four games.

Coleman? Coleman wasn't doing anything when he was playing. Besides, he's been injured since they played Villanova (December 28th). Syracuse has won lots of games since that date.

Syracuse can't score. It's catching up with them.

True. I don't watch much Syracuse because I can't stomach it. Coleman's last game was on January 7th. It just seems from the stats that Keita is killing them because he brings no offense is is a foul-machine. They've lost three out of four games by a total of 14 points and they play with no depth whatsoever--even for a Boeheim team. They played 7 guys last night and one was Keita who has 4 fouls, 1 pt, no blocks, assists, steals and just two rebounds in 16 minutes. That is terrible. I wonder if he didn't play against us and they didn't get his 4 pts and 4 boards if things would have been different in our five point game?

We can beat Syracuse now. I'd love to see them in the 2nd round if we can both make it that far!

Don't see Cuse in NIT. :)

St John's cant be in east because of MSG. Cuse will be though.

Minko on the FAN with Mark Malusis was asked if Lavin's Storm would take Syracuse to the woodshed now and Minko said "absolutely"
Johnnie's still alive.!

Guess who just beat cuse at the dome?

GEORGIA TECH!!!

I celebrated at the end of that game - Syracuse can't lose enough for me!!
I'm not sure which team I hate more - Syracuse or Georgetown
Basically, because I can't stand Boeheim or "Old Man" Thompson

Starting to see how we played so close with Syracuse. They are not very good.

Mark my words- Syracuse will never be allowed to excel in the ACC. That is the south and it caters to the south and they dont cater to the northern boys. Do you really think they want Syracuse to be the "face" of the ACC. The refs will always find a way to make sure they dont win "too many" games. And the thing is I am going to love watching it year in and year out

So now the ref's will hold them back. Classic lol

Think about it, if you are the ACC- who do you want flying the banner for the ACC? Duke? No Car>? UVA? or Cuse? They had to bring Cuse and the other northern teams into the mix for the football money but the ACC always has been big time college basketball except of course when the BE was really the BE and dont think that didnt bother them. The Southern schools will carry the banner.
btw- how did Cuse lose the game at Cameron? It was the refs call. Believe me I dont care about Cuse, for all I care they can lose every game but going to the ACC will eventually be seen by Cuse fans as a big mistake in years to come at least as far as basketball is concerned.

Cuse has been saved by the refs in two ACC games this year, I've watched both of them. Duke and NC State were both games where the refs gave cuse the game. Not buying this conspiracy.

Gotta go with Mike's take on this. In the end, it's about money, not geography.

And recall how Jimmy B. not-so-subtely dissed the grandaddies of the ACC after his technical and ejection. At the press conferences he made remarks like: "they don't like me saying that down here". And when his next game up was Maryland and they were off on a Saturday night, he said: "They would not do that in the 'other' league". He's getting his bonus for helping to make the transition to the ACC, and then he's gone.

Didn't the same ref who made IMO a good call at Duke ref the St. John's game after?

And Cuse got help at the dome when they won against Duke.

Grant declared for the nba draft today, per ESPN. it's starting to look more and more like we have a good shot to win at the carrier dome. We almost took them out at MSG, and now their triple headed monster of Fair, Ennis, and Grant are all gone and being replaced by freshmen who might not yet have a feel for college ball by the time we play them.

Really hoping we pull that off, cause cuse will always be a quality win, and they showed this year they are not as invincible at home as they used to be (losing to BC and Georgia Tech at the dome)

On another note, it just makes it more and more certain Karr won't get drafted. Glen Robinson III of Michigan declared today as well, along with Aaron Gordon of Arizona. That's three forwards right there that will be taken ahead of Karr.

Ennis, Fair, and Grant! Wow. I think they will be worse every year and I'm wrong every year. My hatred for them clouds my judgment. I think this might be the year they finally stink.

If we can't beat them next year at the Dome, we never will.
