Sir Dominic is quoted as saying, "We pride ourselves on defense." Really? Unless I missed something last year we are poor defensively. Not that we should be, afterall we are loaded with athletes. I always felt we should be a pressing team, scoring after steals. Actually it wouldn't hurt, especially since we are not a great shooting team. Hopefully our sterling assistant coaches will bring about a much improved change with our defensive efforts.
Probably nothing, but Lavin realized last saturday this team is pathetic down low without him, so he's not risking him getting injured against st Thomas Aquinas

Adonis looks very very raw and not ready in any single way to play. Just terrible right now. He should definitely be redshirted.
Amar on the other hand looks a little lost, but he's pretty fluid and long. He needs to learn how to use his hands better and be more aggressive and involved (especially defensively), but that will come with time.
