St. Thomas Aquinas

I noticed Nova is giving away free tickets for their exhibition this week. Suggest SJU do the same.

It's going to be a blood bath that won't tell us much. Humboldt State is a much tougher program in a much tougher conference and the type of team that gives us problems. Well-coached and highly skilled players grow on trees in California.

Tickets are 25 and 35 dollars which makes me feel like an idiot when I walk up to the ticket office. Just hope no recruits are among the 1000 die hards in the stands.
Another great marketing effort by SJU.

Looking at the attendence at St. THomas's games they should be real comfortable with the attendence at this game

Are those prices for students as well? If so, that's insane.

This article makes STAC sound like national champion contenders. If we can't whip them then the Minnesota game might not be out first hard game.

Remember seeing the price printed on non student tickets as only $7.......

It's a shame at the end of the 2012-2013 season St. Thomas fired Dennis O'Donnell, their very long term coach, and not only SJU alum, but also a former cheerleader too. I'm sure Dennis will be at this game. Prior to his final season he was told that if he didn't finish .500 or better he'd be fired. In the 3rd or 4th game, he lost his best player for the season with a serious injury.

Dennis would have loved to have coached at CA. I remember mentioning his name to Tim Cluess, who remarked, "Dennis is a REALLY good coach"

Dennis' brother Jimmy, also an SJU grad and former cheerleader as well, is a long term employee in Seton Hall's AD.

Does anyone know if this game will be on the radio? I looked around on the web and I couldn't find anything definitive. Thanks in advance.

No radio. ESPN3 webcast, or you can go to redstormsports.com. I believe gametracker will let you follow it, though you won't see or hear anything.

I think this game is huge to see what Amar can do. He didnt do much last Sat and he is the key to this team, we need another big to grab some boards.
