St. John's will be pumping in crowd noise for home games and has sold about 250 fan placards. Team has another scrimmage Saturday. #sjubb

Damn this pandemic but at least our attendance at Carnesecca will be improved :)

And I'll bet there won't be any complaints about the heat from this crowd! ;-)

If someone could post the scrimmage like they did last time that would be great!

Or donate a few bucks to the program which is in need, and you can watch!

Heard they have upgraded the concession stands for the placards.

On crutches, in a boot, undergoing cryogenic therapy and in a state of suspend animation. But, he'll be ready for St. Peter's.:cheer: B)

Maher vacations in oppressively hot places. He probably has pictures of himself sweating that he can use for his placard.

This Moore is is a dunkathon. We actually have a 6'10 athletic big man that can score. most think Im crazy but I think this team is competing for a conference title. It might take a bit to mesh, but come Big East tourney time, this is going to be a team no one wants to play.

Or maybe the Sahara desert trip. I’m not sure either waa hotter than the upper level of CA but at least CA doesn’t have crazy bugs that bite. They wouldn’t survive the heat in the upper section

I think we will be ranked top 25 sometime this season. Call it the CMA factor.

It might be a year to early for the conf title, but i think we could do big things in the conf tournament.
Next year is the year I believe that we'll really do our thing.

I don't think this will be a live streamed event like Tuesday.

Artificial crowd noise should be mandatory at all empty games, IMO. Otherwise, somebody's going to mumble something under his breath, that some obnoxious ref will hear, and the ref will hit the guy with a T, something that would never happen with a crowd in the stands. Could affect the outcome of a game, and who know what ramifications that will have down the line.

Hopefully the crowd noise isn't generic or mild.
Would be great if they had the recorded sounds from a few of the big games w/ huge comebacks at Carnesecca even like the loss to Butler last year. The energy and cheers were insane.
