Still leaves us with one more non conference game that we can schedule, no?
I don't think so, because the exempt tournament was reduced from 3 games, down to 2. It's still 25 non-exempt games.

Well we have 26 games so that's not true. Seem to remember they capped it at 27 games.

I have to guess that factored into our decision to schedule them. We can't afford anything but a stellar OOC record
Or since pretty much most teams are playing heavy local OOC schedules will it not even be much of a consideration come the end of the season?

Eye test in League play more than OOC will come into play for the “Dance” card I suspect. Guessing net formulas will be less relevant this year.

It will if a team goes 3-4 OOC, don't you think? Also we do need a winning record for NIT consideration unless they change those rules also.

Sure but if we go 3-4 against local heavy schedule the NCAA Tournament shouldn't even be on anyone's lips.
If the 4 losses were to Mich St, Kentucky, Florida and Arizona I don't think it would matter much.
Lastly I'm probably in the minority but the NIT is such a waste. Maybe if they get it out of the Garden where there are 5-6k scattered fans I'll care but its just sad to watch IMO.

TT game is at 9pm espn/espn2.

Big East commissioner Val Ackerman tells me league is talking about adding some conference games before Dec. 11, if teams lose non-conference games due to COVID-19. It's fluid, though.
