Great article. Opening day starters:

1- posh
2- gwill
3- champy
4- the duke
5- moore

Thats a beast lineup!
My guy, why do you keep leaving Dunn out of lineups, pretty much every practice report, and CMA himself has all but said he starting. Him, Champ, and Williams are locks to start at the beginning of the season. I've never seen CMA invite a guy he plans having come off the bench to media days, it's always his top players. That's a reward for the guys that he believes are the leaders and guys that are standing out to him.
Well, there have been reports that posh has the starting pg spot nailed down. So u see us rolling out a starting lineup of posh, dunn and gwill as a 3 guard lineup? I dont see that at all.

I know I keep warning you, but you might be setting yourself up for disappointment. I can see your guy being a finisher, but not sure if he's a starter. I think a lot depends on how quickly Cole gets up to speed. And if Cole doesn't, does Dunn get the nod next?
And let's see how Moore adapts to Division 1 play before tossing "beast" epithets around. Seems to me that the biggest number of disappointments -- and not just for us (for which the list goes on and on) -- are typically "big men."

Don't know or care about starting lineup, but I think we will see an awful lot of some combination of Posh, Dunn, Williams & Cole playing 1, 2 and 3 together.

At some point during the game for short spurts? Sure. But i cant imagine that is the lineup they are coming out of the gates with.

Thats a beast lineup!
One question you have to ask is .Champ a good enough shooter to play the 3 or is he better suited at the 4. I get the feeling ME isn’t going to start. But will get his share of minutes and be very productive. That said, if he improves this year as much as he did last year he is going to be a great player.

After reading the Zach B article I am going with this starting lineup

Posh
Dunn
Williams
Champ
Roberts

And if Moore reminds him of a Owens that is great. We could use another Tariq Owens.

Got this over At Holland, he didn't put a link but put the b.e. games with the times.

Sju:

Dec 14th - @ Butler 5pm
Dec 17th.- vs. Creighton 5pm

It's a good thing he's not a McGriff fanboy, because I think it's going to be tough for him to see the floor.

I think as long as your favorite player is in the top 8 you'll be very happy. I think a couple other guys could get decent minutes. A couple might not be happy if their whole existence is based on mpg.

The good thing with a system that has you running and defending nonstop is that when it's humming, kids will feel like they are playing a lot even if the mpg says otherwise.

Swap Toro in for Roberts and I think you have it.

But everyone is going to play, as long as they meet coach's requirements.

I agree I think Toro is the opening day starter at the 5. I suspect we'll see a lot of Moore though as well.

I think it will be Dunn, Williams, Cole, Champ and Moore (maybe Toro instead of Moore) but I think the first 4 are locked in right now

I think Toro will get the nod over Moore mainly because of his experience level as a grad. He can go in and set a tone for the game with early easy buckets and rebounds. Who starts doesn’t matter but putting the guy in with the most game experience makes sense.

I think we will also see Moore at the forward spots a bit and both Toro and Moore against some of those bigger teams. Robert’s will get good minutes as well. We have lots of options and shouldn’t be radically undersized against many like we have in the past.

Really hope we get at least a handful of games in with all our players. The way things are going it just feels like eventually every program will have at least 1 COVID case. Let's hope not.
