One of our esteemed posters quoted (without context) a tweet from 2023 in which Mr. Prey had elected to remain in Portugal. Although another poster immediately posted the original tweet (with the June 2023 date), many posters either (a) missed the date stamp; or (b) replied to those who missed the date stamp and thus mistakenly believed it was current information.

That and some minor diversions into "what is a reuben and is it different from a rueben and does New Jersey even matter" pretty much bring you up to date on the last few pages of this thread.

The bottom line is that we believe that Reuben Prey remains a target for SJU this year; at least one online personality expected him to sign yesterday but then reported that there was a hold-up of some sort with either "school" or "the school,' there seems to be some question about whether the NCAA will clear him as an amateur; and thus we continue to wait for clarity and/or an annoucement.

If I missed anything, someone please fill in the blank. Something relevant or important, that is.

We haven’t figured out if there is an announcement are we going on Portugal time zone or eastern time zone. That matters for insomniacs like me
