SJU Power Forward Portal Targets

Also if Hurley does take lakers job ,which I think is going to happen might be an interesting late addition or two to the portal.
I believe if Hurley leaves UConn will fill job from within, despite Ollie experience and preserve a super 24 class and 25 work for additional great players.

Think they’d make same mistake as they did with Ollie. IMO they should hire big name proven HC if they don’t want to skip a beat. Look at Nova going from blue blood to afterthought so quickly.

Complementary piece to me v game changers like Omier, Watkins types. Prey also likely to be a one year loaner too & go pro somewhere. Not sure who sticks around anymore. That said, so late in game you take Prey imo.
I see another Osi Iguadaro. I’ll take one of those.

Michigan is out barring a HIGHLY HIGHLY unlikely change from the administration. A few things pls..this isn't a Cliff thing...hes not touring every School making promises, breaking promises. I won't comment on his or any other young persons transcripts but he left FSU in good standing within their academic parameters. I understand the fatigue and perceived drama of the reporting both accurate and often false but that does not lay on the shoulders of the kid.

Appreciate it. May I ask, are we still in it?

Have zero idea how this kid is getting his 14 game sophomore season back but good for him. He would be better than keeping the spot open. 24 year old who’s shot 34% from 3 over last two season on 2 1/2 attempts.
This guy actually redshirted in 18-19. Then has played 113 games in the 5 years since. Coming back for his SEVENTH year of college and here the IVY kids are shit out of luck.

I'm guessing he's eligible because of the ruling?
Admittedly don’t know how that works 100%. Thought it had to to with guys who were forced to sit after a transfer. That wasn’t the case for him. Enrolled 18-19 and redshirted as a freshmen.

18-19 redshirt sit out
19-20 RS fresh
20-21 RS soph (covid)
21-22 RS Soph part 2 (14 games)
22-23 double RS soph?
23-24 Double RS JR?
24-25 AARP

Talk to me cause I don’t see elite
I haven’t watched a second of him since we were involved last year, but I loved what I saw then.

Absurd coordination for a kid that big. True 4/5 potential. Looks good already in pick and roll. Fundamentals are Karabanesque. Plays long on defense and can move his feet well. Shot looks good and I like the way he gets into his shot. Drives aren’t fast but super skilled and controlled. Shows he can counter the defender’s initial reaction.

Fair to knock off some top end ceiling for lack of elite athletic ability, but he’s got more than enough to stick in the NBA if he can grow skills.

Just really, really like this kid. I won’t get my hopes up this time, though.
