This would be a solid pickup in terms of outside shooting and free throw shooting. How is his defense? His offensive stats are similar to Alleyne.

This needs to be addressed. I am all for players getting some money. But this is asinine college basketball players getting more money then rookies in the NBA.

I agree that NIL #s have gotten crazy & will separate the deep pocket schools from smaller even more.
But excluding lottery picks, yes top 20 collegeplayers appear to be now getting more $$ than late 1st round picks- there are 2 reasons:
1) in many cases they are better than NBA very late 1st & 2nd round picks.
2) Like MLB, The NBA is a monopoly & sets salary levels (caps)
There are no salary limits in college basketball
