Hard to see Kansas as a landing spot for Lee, but that's mostly based on this past year of total underachievement and a terrible team culture.

How good our PG is going to directly tie in to what our ceiling is.
If we get a top tier level PG we can legitimately make the final 4 and potentially win the national championship with this roster.
If we get an average PG (let’s just say a guy like Malachi Smith for sake of argument) we are not going to be a legit national championship contender.
Look at Houston this past season. Early on Milos Uzan was struggling adjusting to the new system and Houston lost to every decent team they played in November even with how loaded they were at every other position. When Uzan figured it out Houston became a wagon.
We obviously have a stable floor regardless given the talent and depth we’ll have at other positions. But next season isn’t about having a stable floor it’s about having an unlimited ceiling. And our ceiling would be capped without a high level PG

Lee is a kid I feel that was gonna take other visits never saw him committing instantly. Let the process play out and we will adjust if needed.

No clue who it is at this point. Sounds like the next pivot might be DJ Wagner and he’s a guy who has the potential to really work here but it’s definitely a big gamble given his inefficient play thus far in his career

The fact the staff were caught off guard doesn't give me the warm fuzzies, but it also doesn't mean we're not Lee's choice. Frankly, he's the one I want but I'm not swearing it as I'm extremely confident in this staff to land a solid PG.
I'll be shocked if it's Kansas but who the heck knows these days. Would be nice to see a couple of commitments in the next couple of days even if it's not our point guard.
