For example, the Villanova PG from Bulgaria looked like Bob Cousy on tape.
If he was so great, why didn’t he play more? When he played, why didn’t he stand out?

Btw, Jackson, after SJU visit, heads to NC St & barracuda Will Wade. That moderately concerns me, more than his recent USC visit (courtesy visit perhaps). I still think we have great shot at Jackson though.

The fact the staff were caught off guard doesn't give me the warm fuzzies, but it also doesn't mean we're not Lee's choice. Frankly, he's the one I want but I'm not swearing it as I'm extremely confident in this staff to land a solid PG.

I was reading the UNC boards regarding Jackson. They are very upset with his departure. FWIW, some think he could be better than RJ under Pitino, as he is might be a tad more athletic and is a better shooter. With Pitino’s coaching up D and conditioning, Jackson can be a monster on this team.

This needs to be addressed. I am all for players getting some money. But this is asinine college basketball players getting more money then rookies in the NBA.

Always need verification. That’s the personal workout and candid conversation.
Remember that Agents can say anything to allegedly trusted insiders. The Insiders then innocently spread the “news” and the market is effected for the player.
Then the can’t miss player is in the portal again next year.
After spending a year on the bench at Top 25 University.
And the Agent gets another fee next year too.
It’s called “The Money Go Round”.

Perspective -
For about 25 years we were a bland program attracting modest talent with an occasional blue chip ala Ponds in the mix.
Like small inexpensive Cracker Jack plastic toys. We collected them.
Now we’re back in the Great South Bay fishing with the Big Boys and catching our share. We expect good hauls like throwing out a line with multiple hooks and reeling in multiple fish. Big fish meeting fish & game law standards.
Yep back with the Big Boys.
Is it once again (circa 2000 AD and before) FUN to be a Johnnie’s fan or what!
