They could definitely coexist. Clayton plays well with others and the kid this year, Pullin, was more of a PG than Pope.

And just this morning Trilly says we are not going as hard for Pope as he thought we would.

This may scare some folks. To me, it’s exciting.
 
Any word on the Cliff O visit??? I really can’t see this team improving much with out a high end post player at least on the defensive end.

Definitely slightly concerning that it's trending like Cliff won't be locked up before the dead period. Haven't seen anything on him taking official visits elsewhere yet, if that happens I'll really start to worry.

Bensley visiting Providence the day before the dead period certainly isn't ideal and probably means a quick resolution on that front is unlikely unless he commits to Providence on the spot today or early tomorrow.

The staff withdrawing from recruiting Pope is a puzzling one considering he's exactly what this roster needs. A volume scorer that can play on or off the ball.

Confident Rick and staff have a plan and have their sights dialed in on specific guys they think would help the most, though unclear of who they may be as of now. Would also be helpful to get Ledlum's waiver situation resolved one way or the other ASAP to not be left standing when the music stops during the game of portal musical chairs.
 
I'll just say the portal this offseason has been exhausting to keep up with. It's so unpleasant what is going on behind the scenes. On top of things changing minute by minute, quite literally, the lying and conning of kids, and people in the media / with any kind of reach being used for leverage it's truly disgusting.

My understanding is Rick is holding out for bigger fish. Doesn’t want to take Joseph this early when potentially better players could become available.

There is also another player who isn’t being talked about that the staff is targeting who would be a huge get if they pulled it off. Stay tuned.

i smell a potential Pod Topic Dave... Have some people (they can keep themselves anonymous if they want) - who are "handlers" / agents - parents- whoever - Give us the real low-down of what occurs... Viewership through the roof!

I know they were covering themselves trying for a big in portal from West Coast, talented but there are a lot of suitors for him.

Many say Kadary will enter portal after NIT and some chatter last week SJU would have interest then. I know some posters question fit here, but just sharing what I hear.
