SJU Portal Targets

It ties directly to transfers. Did Rick really need this "extra time" to get quality players or does the walk and chew gum approach taken by Seton Hall with them in NIT finals now make them appear better to transfers/recruits? I don't have an answer, I see both sides here but was wondering thoughts on the impact on some of the more local players we might be after.
Where as I agree being in the NIT and even winning it would have very little impact on recruiting, the "we are going to skip to focus our efforts on the transfer portal" was weak. Especially since the NIT is almost over and we have not done anything in the portal yet. I have no problem waiting on transfers, there will be new players added every day. We will fill our roster. But, to skip out on a post season the way we did seems much more like 'sour grapes' than anything.

I just assumed Pitino had his 'least enjoyable time ever' coaching this team and wanted it ended as soon as possible, seniors be damned. Thanks for staying Joel!

I can picture the convo now. Mom I want to go to Seton Hall they just won the NIT. Kids mom calls assistant coaches my son is interested what are you offering him. Well Mrs xxx “ we can get him a years worth of free breakfasts at IHOP as long as he goes there before 7am. Mom “ but your morning practices end at 8am can he get it delivered. Asst Coach “ absolutely but you have to pay the uber eats delivery charge and tip “
Clearly you haven't been to South Orange, no IHOPs for miles. SHU is offering two for one's at Chris's Texas Weiner (chilidogs are an upcharge).

I’ll take Cliff or Williams, don’t really care who. Either would be a great start to our class at center.
I admit, I had not heard of most of these players until they were posted here. Only after that did I research stats, articles and video on these players. That said, they seem like fairly comparable.
