Known Mike since Loughlin and he absolutly loves this kid. Said don't look at numbers.. he has a Lamar Odom type skill set and swears by him as a future star. Said something's happened( none negative not my place to repeat) never seen him but Mikes word is good by me. Don't really know interest level on either side yet just got this info this weekend
 
He deleted tweet but it was photo if he and Kadary side by side in an earlier SH v SJ game noting “deciding soon” or something to that effect
 


One of the guys on Trilly's discord claims Kriisa would be a target. I've never really doubted Pitino before but if that's true this would be the first time. Kriisa is a bad basketball player. Inefficient, turnover machine, way worse against good competition, complete liability on defense.

The magic Rick pulled with Russ Smith isn't going to work on a guy that's already been in college 4 years.

I think winning means more to Ledlum than anything else. If that means coming off the bench if he comes back, I think he's good with that.
 
Two days before the dead period and the silence is getting kind of loud. Any word if there was/is going to be a Cliff visit this week?

Had heard that there would be.

It is also logical to look at some elite programs jumping in, who seem to have a lot of pieces returning with exception of filling big man spot. I don’t know if they are recruiting him but UNC replacing Bacot is an example. Am sure there are others who want a one year loaner who rebounds and blocks shots.

I certainly had impression this was all but done for SJU at one point based on hearing from reliable people, but this stuff can turn on a dime with $, agents, leveraging, etc. Am no expert, but I am keeping the faith.

Quite a lot riding on the outcome of this portal season with nothing but crickets. Hoping we see multiple high level recruits popping soon especially with Taylor leaving.
 
Understand it's early, but it we don't land someone soon or losing out on bigger names, sentiment will be that instead of losing fastball, we're playing slow pitch softball 😆
 
Hopefully some positive news soon for us. This is literally Matt A.’s only job. Still only the first inning though.

its Matt job to bring them in for meeting, Pitino's to close correct? Not sure if it that simple, but would be shocked if Matt is closing too.
 
If you guys want this season's version of Conway to kick things off, I'm sure that wouldn't be hard.

But if you want a rim protector and a first team all-conference guard to be among the first two or three players, you'll have to learn to relax. I know that's impossible for some of you.
