Yea--not a crazy number. It's not my money, but seems like he's worth it and given the history with pitino and our need for a scoring guard, he's probably worth more to us than anywhere else. Makes too much sense from a basketball/business perspective.

I'm sure people have seen Zagoria's tweet claiming Cliff won't take visits until after the NCAA tournament, as I've gotten tons of messages about it. It's not accurate. Just want you guys to remember Adam Zagoria is the same person who said Mike Anderson wasn't being fired...the next time you guys wanna cite him.

He missed a lot of practices. His bb IQ will improve. But the real question is. Are his shin splints a chronic situation?
Bittersweet news, but makes sense considering all the guys we're talking to. Probably a (good) sign of things to come roster/talent wise. Love Taylor though and do think he was underused this year.

I'd like another third big option in addition to Cliff and Zuby. Why? Foul trouble which they've both been prone to and potential injury. Most Big East teams have at least three bigs who can contribute major minutes. I'm assuming Maker will take a year or two to contribute major minutes. Even this year we had Joel, Zuby and Drissa in a pinch.
As much as I’d like great front court depth I don’t think this is true. At least if we’re talking about guys who play the 5.

I think that’s unnecessary if we had Cliff and Zuby. Houston doesn’t start a guy over 6’8. Maker could give you 5 mins in a pinch this weekend.
Plus Luis is all of 6’7 with Gumby arms so you just have him stay at home in standard 2-3 or draw up a 1-3-1 with a pesky defensive guard on the baseline to rip at the ball.

Me too. Clayton is the real deal. I have no idea if Ledlum gets a waiver next year, or whatever he needs to play. If not, I'm sure RP can get a transfer PF we would be happy with.
