Forget the reason but hasn’t it been said that Dingle unlike Ledlum has no basis for appeal for another year of eligibility?
I don’t know why not. Both were at Ivy schools and graduated (Ivy gives you a total four years, no redshirt). Both came here as grad transfers. The Ivy League did not play one year because of COVID so neither one got a COVID year due (NCAA rule which is convoluted due to IVY League not playing).

I remember reading it in numerous places including on here just didn’t not recall the name explanation.

I believe it's the opposite and that it would potentially be easier for Dingle to add an extra year (although I don't think he is looking to play an extra year of college basketball). This is because Dingle apparently withdrew from school in the COVID year, 2020-2021, so that he could potentially play four years at Penn. This link states, "He withdrew from school in 2020-21, the season lost to COVID-19, while the vast majority of his teammates stayed, just so he could preserve four years of eligibility in a Penn uniform."

I was unaware of that. Thanks.

Oweh's defense is well ahead of his offense. Good slasher, not much of a shooter. Similar to Taylor in that sense. I'd have a hard time envisioning them both on the roster

Ledlum is a no brainer to welcome back with open arms on like ten different levels. Who knows if that can happen though.
There's only one way yo find out, he has to ask the ncaa, the worst thing that couuld happen is they say no.
I hope he asks them, you if dont ask, them we'll never.if he could get an extra year.

Somebody posted this yesterday, I'd like to second it: can we please keep this thread to guys who St John's is actively targeting or are strongly rumored to be interested in? We have a whole other thread to post every slapdick who hits the portal and a "we should go after this guy" message.

Gracias!
