Somebody posted this yesterday, I'd like to second it: can we please keep this thread to guys who St John's is actively targeting or are strongly rumored to be interested in? We have a whole other thread to post every slapdick who hits the portal and a "we should go after this guy" message.
Gracias!
There but for the grace of God go all of us brother. Not you I posted in wrong thread above about Meechie Johnson …my bad on the mistake I am the slapdick!!

Isn’t it your middle name?We all disagree
Exactly the reason he can’t get the covid year back because he didn’t play that year so nothing to get back. At least that was the explanation I read in a few different places. Ledlum played that year so he can apply to get it back though the Ivies don’t allow for it maybe NCAA gives it to him because he’s not at an Ivy League school anymore.I believe it's the opposite and that it would potentially be easier for Dingle to add an extra year (although I don't think he is looking to play an extra year of college basketball). This is because Dingle apparently withdrew from school in the COVID year, 2020-2021, so that he could potentially play four years at Penn. This link states, "He withdrew from school in 2020-21, the season lost to COVID-19, while the vast majority of his teammates stayed, just so he could preserve four years of eligibility in a Penn uniform."

Yeah, that does make sense as to why Ledlum would actually have a better shot.Exactly the reason he can’t get the credit vid year back because he didn’t play that year so nothing to get back. I should edit my comment. A few more transfers in, or a few more people transferring out?I think when it's all said and done, they'll be a few more than four.
I have impression Chris applied for waiver, but no clue on the time frame of adjudicationYeah, that does make sense as to why Ledlum would actually have a better shot.
Depends on the topicIsn’t it your middle name?
Heard it will be on the “Orlando Sanchez” fastrack.I have impression Chris applied for waiver, but no clue on the time frame of adjudication
Trilly: Was told a handful of guys are trying to do this or they’ll sue but I’m not really sure they have a case? The Covid year doesn’t count.I have impression Chris applied for waiver, but no clue on the time frame of adjudication
Would be great if ledlum gets it, but the waiver doesn’t make a lot of sense to me since the point of the Covid waiver was to make sure guys that played during Covid weren’t penalized. He didn’t play so he wasn’t penalized. That said nothing about the ncaa makes sense so he’ll probably get the waiver.Trilly: Was told a handful of guys are trying to do this or they’ll sue but I’m not really sure they have a case? (again, highly recommend subbing on the discord, he answers plenty of questions [this one was from me])
Argument would be that he was penalized by not being allowed to play that season (Covid year). The Ivy leaguers didn’t lose the additional year granted to everyone but they missed out on the extra season that the ncaa didn’t count.Would be great if ledlum gets it, but the waiver doesn’t make a lot of sense to me since the point of the Covid waiver was to make sure guys that played during Covid weren’t penalized.
