Y2 still has us as a lock for all threeWe really need him AND Omier. If we don’t get Omier I have a hard time seeing top 3 BE & reasonable path to NCAAT without much sweat. If we get both I will be very excited.
Absolutely, going into portal mania, it was clear a very good PG was a priority. Omier obviously appeared to be a huge addition and disappointing to likely lose him. I believe they will shore up the interior with a guy a notch below, but as Moose said, college hoops is still a guards game. I sense Kadary camp will make their choice this week and hopefully it is SJU. If those three things happen and returnees improve, this will be a highly competitive team and should dance. That’s not bad around here.Deivon's a home run. We should be elated we get him tomorrow.
If this whole insider/rumor mill thing did not exist, and we woke up on June 1 with a transfer portal class of Deivon Smith, Kadary Richmond, Jamir Watkins (or someone like that), Aaron Scott, and Vince Iwuchukwu along with retaining everybody the staff wanted to keep, we'd all be on cloud nine/elated. Baylor has extremely wealthy mega donor who helped keep Drew and suspect a huge part of that was NIL increase obviously.Wonder how many enchiladas Baylor's paying between sermons?
Very good point dkIf this whole insider/rumor mill thing did not exist, and we woke up on June 1 with a transfer portal class of Deivon Smith, Kadary Richmond, Jamir Watkins (or someone like that), Aaron Scott, and Vince Iwuchukwu along with retaining everybody the staff wanted to keep, we'd all be on cloud nine/elated. On paper, we would be more talented, more athletic, and a better fit for Pitino than last year by a long shot. Hopefully with a changed focus of making pieces fit/jell on Day 1, we'll see a better start out of the gate.
Definitely accounting because he'll be a counting his millionKadary must be taking his time deciding on his major here
No he is the best player of the three. You only feel that way because he is the least likely to come and we are conditioned for disappointment
He has walked back Omier and has now gone radio silentY2 still has us as a lock for all three

I'm jealous & frustrated, so being sarcastic. I apologize.Baylor has extremely wealthy mega donor who helped keep Drew and suspect a huge part of that was NIL increase obviously.
No need to apologize & got your point, I’m right there too lolI'm jealous & frustrated, so being sarcastic. I apologize.
Don’t disagree except haven’t replaced top two 3 point shooters from last year and as much grief as people gave Soriano, not sure who on the above team can get us an easy basket down low.If this whole insider/rumor mill thing did not exist, and we woke up on June 1 with a transfer portal class of Deivon Smith, Kadary Richmond, Jamir Watkins (or someone like that), Aaron Scott, and Vince Iwuchukwu along with retaining everybody the staff wanted to keep, we'd all be on cloud nine/elated. Soriano bricked so many layups. His midrange game was really good.Don’t disagree except haven’t replaced top two 3 point shooters from last year and as much grief as people gave Soriano, not sure who on the above team can get us an easy basket down low.
