Another scoop….. Hack Brazilla just said that Ron Jeremy and Big John Holmes just entered the lower portal….. and now says they are both coming.

Word has it that prior to choosing the Johnnies, they stiffed a lot of other schools.

Transfer Portal Scoop: Info on every top uncommitted player as teams hit crunch time to fill roster needs

Pour one out for a Seton Hall program that's been gutted. And then consider that Richmond (probably) won't have to do much more than cross Hudson River for his next step. A New York City product who began his career at Syracuse, every source we've connected with recently thinks Richmond is St. John's to lose. Illinois and Kansas came up early in the process, but Rick Pitino's Red Storm are the favorites.

As it turns out, Richmond isn't the only high-profile transfer portal prospect that the Red Storm appears to be in good shape with. Miami's Norchad Omier ranks No. 5 overall in the portal and his name is coming up a lot with St. John's.

All of this is merely speculation until the ink is on the paper or at least until they announce. What good is being "favorite"? We'll know we're the favorite if and when someone commits. Until then, none of this is helpful. (Not at all a dig at people posting the information)

Open question: If we were able to match and compete with Baylor's counters, what would the team's culture devolve into and would Rick pursue Omier regardless because he is the 'difference'?

This is fascinating, because the volume of insiders point to Omier being a SJU long shot. Yet, Y2 is standing firm.

If Y2 is correct, I would suggest he is someone who is extremely close to our team's portal work.
