Fwiw Mitchell brings more strength, defense and versatility than Taylor and Scott but judging how we just were left at the altar with Scott we weren't banking on Mitchell being a realistic target?
They need to pony up for Kadary at this point even if it means overpaying. East for me to say when it’s not my $Have mixed feeling about Vincent, but realize w risks sometimes you get rewards.
While I am not in a panic, It is the clear the need to add some quality guards especially a PG soon is vital. Returnees have upside, but imo we need some veteran guards/wing capable of scoring moving the ball & defending. We lose a ton of scoring and our luck never seems to line up in situations like the two waivers.
Next two weeks should give us a better sense of things hopefully.
Agree, it’s amazing how everyone’s standards for success are dropping daily. We went from winning a National Championship to hoping to stay competitive in the top half of the conference with in a year.I dont hate anyone. Bringing Pitino here was to get to Final 4s and win a championship. These players wont get us there.
Pitino has brought expectations. We need stud players in here!!!!!!!!!!!
This was mentioned that in a post in one of the threads recently that the NCAA would be soon meeting to pass some new rules including the eligibility one. The part about immediate eligibility is just a formality as they had suspended the rule prohibiting immediate eligibility for multi transfer due to the court case(s) they lost.I wasn’t sure where to put this so I put it here. Please change it if there is somewhere more appropriate.
Obviously something needs to be done. (I’m beginning to find it comical and we are not most definitely not alone.. Unlike some schools we haven’t been poached yet either. Those are the ones that are really suffering.
Have you seen this? Seems that this is the NCAA’s meager attempt to do something.
NCAA Board approves immediate eligibility for multi-time transfers, school assistance for NIL opportunities

No way is Taylor a better offensive player than Scott. If you point out his shooting percentage it’s cause he took far less shots. While a defensive stopper he was a liability on offense as he rarely looked to shoot or drive the ball most of the season.Couple things. I thought Luis and Taylor would (will) pair well together but Rick obviously did not.
I’m not sure I agree about Taylor being better offensive player. Certainly he does thing better, but I’m not sure if he’s better in the “4” spot as a stretch option and a screener. Taylor definitely the better ball handler and capable of hitting the open 3.
Personally I’d pay Taylor at the 4 offensively where he may have better shot of getting by his man. Good handle and all, he rarely got by true wings who were able to give him a step or 2. Then I’d have Luis guard the 4 and Taylor defend the wing.

In terms of getting Taylor back, that’s a bad look and gives the impression of the staff settling cause they couldn’t do any better. And what makes anyone think he would want to play behind Luis?
That’s a losing strategy, you win with the oranges St. James, Tennesse, and New York (not a basketball strategy, but you’ll win monopoly with it)Maybe CRP saving NIL money to buy Boardwalk and Park Place.
Disagree and think he was from a hesitation standpoint. There were games when he was out there when he didn’t even look at the basket.Taylor was far from a liability on offense
Marfo Marfo.Hearing Addae-Wusu not likely, but puncher's chance as a fallback option.

The second part is interesting but how long before they get hit with a suit on this because someone feels it is none of the school’s business if they make more than $600 on an NIL deal especially since it is not coming from the school.
Thanks for posting the article.

100 percent agree, but Tennessee fans seem confident he's coming back now that the position room thinned out.Don't know why we never kicked the tires on Tobe Awaka once we fell behind in the running for Cliff to instead take a raw injury/health prone kid with no offensive ability. Awaka would have got the starting role he was looking for close to home. Weird we didn't kick the tires on that one.
Silly Donovan and MR are the same guy, right? I’m literally the least observant poster when it comes to that stuff and even I see it.One of these days MullinsRevenge, you are going to forget to switch accounts, and reply to yourself and it will be hilarious
I loved Taylor but have to admit there were games where he didn't even look to score; in retrospect I think that may have been a lack of comfort for whatever reason. His playing time was completely unpredictable from game to game which no one likes.Remember Taylor averaged 11.5 points a game as a sophomore in the PAC12. As I said, I think Scott is better offensively at the 4. To say there is 'no way' Taylor is better is ridiculous.
