Yes NIL is supposed to be how you laid it out. But if as part of the NIL deals the players sign with Collectives is requiring them to make appearances at events, interact with people, sign autographs (etc.) then that is fulfilling the requirement.
In theory, but it's not being done in an open market system. It is specifically done to say look he did it, isn't it normal to pay a college player $500,000 for a 1 hour autograph signing at 10pm at a store that closed at 9pm. Not his fault nobody came in because he was there.

DK423 is an excellent poster. Sticks to hoops, doesn't get into it with other members, doesn't post gratuitously about politics or generally try to inflame things. Happy to be a member of the DK423 club. You should apply for membership - but try modeling that behavior first. ✌️
That's rich!
Are you the same guy who just inflamed me with the gratuitous comment "No but it's possible his former user name included "ass"🤣🤣🤣"?

But seriously, I love all you guys!😉

At the end of the day we all bleed red🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴

No one knows not even the NCAA who has to make the ruling.
Agreed, but seems to me that this could be something decided already, or at least very soon and quickly. It is not like they hadn't had reason and the chance to think about before now. But, of course the NCAA is capricious and arrogant....

We don’t just bleed red we hemorrhage it. The question is when will the bleeding stop?

The NCAA will consistent and decisive!
They will for Ledlum and against Dingle.

If it’s such a certainty that Dingle will not be back then why did he/school bother to petition the NCAA?
1. Because when the waiver was filed, it was during the season and you don’t do one without the other.
2. It is always good to have options.
3. if the waiver is granted, it does not mean it has to be used nor does it have to be used here.
