@Seton Hall, Wed. Jan. 27, 7pm, FS1 & 570 AM

Jones and Amar should have played last year because we had no backups at the 4 and 5. CO was injured and suspended for a nice part of the season ,plus he got in foul trouble at times .BTW ,Jones had nice numbers last night.

Playing those guys might have queered his contract negotiations.

He did that without their help.

Every time I see Lavin on Tv, I wish he would say, He failed at his job here., which is why he is on Fox Sports this season. But, that isn't likely to happen.

During the Syracuse game there was an interview in which Mullin gave Lou credit for Mussini's recruitment. When they cut back to the studio Lavin was quick to credit himself, because he's so, you know, classy. .

I know you hate Lavin but that's complete and utter bullshit. They cut back and Rob Stone was the one who started talking about Lavin recruiting Mussine to which all Lavin said was it was his favorite in home visit of all time and then they moved on.

I was busy tonight. Come home and turned it on in the middle of the 2nd half and they were down 28pnts. I was saying wtf is this crap, and to freaking SHU? Turned it off after 5seconds.

Not blaming this on Mullin(this shitty season is on Lavin.), but damn after Syracuse, tell me if anyone here thought it would be this bad.

I won't be watching the Nova game, and to those who go to MSG to watch that massacre and hear all those Nova fans having a great ole dandy time there. You're much better fans then I am.
I couldn't bare it.

But under Mullin, our time is coming. BELIEVE THAT

Can't speak for others but went into that Syracuse game trying to figure out how STJ could get to double digit D1 wins (not counting Chaminade). Came out saying that it was the least likely game I'd ever watched and could just have easily (read more likely) been an aberration rather than a titanic shift in skills and achievement. Incarnate World and NJIT should have brought everybody back down to earth. Now there's pretty much no chance of getting to double digit wins including Chaminade and I'm not surprised., especially after Sima's injury. He might have turned the tide against Marquette. Wait'll next year!

"Wait Until Next Year" will be our battle cry next year as well. The Big East is loaded. When you see the level of talent in this conference, you have to accept that we will be too inexperienced and too lacking in interior strength to expect a major jump from last in the conference. We will be a finesse team in a conference that has a lot of big strong guys that can really bang you inside. We will still take our lumps next season, but it won't be anywhere near this bad. Would like to have a chance with a recruit with Delgado like skills, meaning someone that opponents will have to deal with on every rebound opportunity.

Um, no. Lavin even pointed to himself during the exchange with a what about me expression on his face. It was good for one of my better paragraphs of the year, which is saying something. It's amazing the lies you rubes will tell to justify your bad judgment about that dope.

So you're basing your statement on a facial expression? Listen, I'm glad he's gone too but your obsession borders on unhealthy. I remember watching that and thinking how so many here would blow that out of proportion, and you did. Incredibly predictable. PS I stopped reading you. Funny, but too wordy for my ADHD mind, not your fault. I'm sure you took out the back patter after that para, no matter what fantastical story you came up with.

So you're basing your statement on a facial expression?

Well no. I'm inferring that Lavin must have told Stone his version of the recruitment, because where else would it have come from; that Lavin did nothing to correct the impression Stone gave; from Lavin's words, what sense can be made of them; from his body language, which is as self satisfied and smug physically as is my prose on the page; and that he suffers from histrionic personality disorder, one of the symptoms of which is that the afflicted "is uncomfortable in situations in which he or she is not the center of attention."

Listen, I'm glad he's gone too but your obsession borders on unhealthy.

Thank you for the diagnosis. I think people who think mere atheism is a sign of high intelligence are insecure buffoons, but at least I have the good manners not to mention it.

I remember watching that and thinking how so many here would blow that out of proportion, and you did.

Watching "that," that being the thing that you called "complete and utter bullshit" because it didn't happen, which thing that didn't happen immediately brought to mind the discussion that its not happening would birth.

No further questions.

I wonder about you sometimes, Henry. You may fold under questioning.

Incredibly predictable.

Thanks for reassuring me. Usually I assume those with an inability to concentrate for more than short periods of time are highly intelligent, so your opinion is important to me.

You're obviously of superior intellect given how good you are with the quote function, not to mention the photoshop and the snark. However, given that they cut right from the story to Rob Stone's comment I can only assume that Lavin must have had this set up for weeks. He's such an evil genius for someone so stupid, no? Or maybe he has the power of mind contgrol. And it did happen, just not in the way you dream about it at night while wishing the last five years never happened, except for the first one, and some of the fourth and fifth ones.
