Seton Hall, Wed., Feb. 1, 8:30p, CBSSN

I love Posh, but can we look to anything past 2 years as him being effective as pg in late game? He’s not a guy who can slow things down and run good offense. With all of Curbelos warts, and there are plenty, he’s been better in final minutes than posh has shown. Several times this year curbelo made huge plays for wins late, can’t really remember any examples from posh but I’m sure I could be forgetting. I think he might have made the game winning pass in his first collegiate game to Vince cole, but by an large our record in late, close games has been abysmal. That’s on the coach and on the PG IMO. That’s who has the ball and is in control. By no means am I saying curbelo is leaps and bounds the better player, if given choice of one on my team, I’d take Posh, but as a point guard to finish out games, he has shown no ability to do so.
I want Posh over Curbelo all day every day until the last minute of a game, or even a half. Don't forget, in Posh's freshman year Dunn had the ball in his hands most late game situations. Alexander is just not comfortable running down the clock, he runs it down way too long and then something has to be forced. It's just not his thing.

Curbelo might throw a pass into the stands, but he might make a great play too. 50/50 decisions from a point guard are unacceptable overall but SJU hasn't even gotten that late and close the last couple of years.

So you are saying you want curbelo as point in last minute? I’m confused.

And in the case with Dunn, we were much more successful that year.

If it's gun to my head last minute, and those are my options, I want Curbelo. Even though he might make me wish I chose the gun. And different answer if it is who do I want for the full 40 - then it's Posh.

Even over the gun.

I believe you're referring to Barrett. I think Minlend's son played for San Francisco.
I was referring to Minlend and his Son . I just didn’t know where the younger Minlend went to College . Hence why I posed the question . NC Johnnie supplied to answer , as you did San Francisco . The Younger Barrett now playing for Knicks went to Duke I believe but , was 1 and done . Minlend did pop Donnie Marshall back on the day . Deservedly so too . No harm done and not trying to dis you .

There is absolutely no reason why with the comparative talent level that the Johnnies can’t beat the Hall at home. Oh wait, then there’s the coaching. Cancel that.

I hope I can make it through the first half without getting physically ill...Of course there is always the second half laying in wait.

Posh is dressed and warming up.

A lot of giveaways tonight. Ridgewood banks giving away t-shirts, string bags with goodies, ROTC giving away small flags and selling raffles and red t-shirts are at every seat in the lower and middle bowl.
