Aging Matt Damon GIF

I hear you. Me from the lavin era to now lol
That's great, cheez what pics would I have to get been a fan since around 1980! lol

Why bother with the rest of the season.
Every game is a repeat, halftime lead then end of game loss.

I'm done being tortured.

Like an idiot though I'll be back for one last hope, winning the B.E Tournament.
We know it won't happen, but we'll be hoping for a miracle somehow.

It just eats me up. How do you start B.E play 4-1 then in real games (I can't include DePaul) we're 1-7 since? That's a Pitino coached team we're talking about, not a CMA team.

If you're looking something up then you gotta include DePaul. Is 2-7 his worst ever stretch in a 9 game period, or maybe tied his worst stretch going 2-7?
How ? 3 of those games were at CA . Agsinst Butler , Xavier , PC . Then Nova on the road .

Nova at MSG and then DePaul at UBS . 6 wins at the time , which we are stuck on now .

One of the Announcers last night mentioned that since MSG is our home court , any Win in the BE Tourney will not be Quad 1 wins ?
Is that true ? I didn’t know that fact .

well if we win 6 straight (possible, not likely though) that gives us 20 wins. Honestly I expect them to blow out Seton Hall. But after watching providence, etc.... Not sure. I hope so.

If that’s the case then we are pretty screwed unless we win the whole tournament.

Providence win was at MSG.

Time is running out on our chances and this is our first real "must win game of the season" as I like to call the depaul and georgetown games a mustn't lose game. Somehow we still can write a ticket to the dance. Hold serve at home and if a creighton loss then must win at butler. The 3 left with depaul and georgetown of course cant lose. We can still make this happen.

But THIS game is a must win.

Its getting tougher as a fan watching these games we could have won slip away but season isn't over.....yet!!!

We’ve won 2 of our last 9 games. Both wins just so happen to be the only games Jenkins shot less than 12 shots in that span (9 shots against Nova and 8 shots against DePaul).

We are 5-0 when Jenkins takes less than 12 shots in a game. We are 4-1 when he plays 24 minutes or less with the only loss coming to Michigan after he let McDaniel win the game before the under 12 media timeout and sat watching. Let’s get him down to 20-25 mins and off the ball.

Alleyne-Dingle-Taylor play well together and have chemistry. It doesn’t matter who you think is the better PG or player, Jenkins simply does not pair well with any perimeter player on the roster.

He’s probably got another few really nice games in him but is it worth alienating the rest of our perimeter players? No.

What were those wins when he played less than 24 minutes ? Holy Cross? DePaul? Sacred Heart? There was no reason for him to play that much in those. They wouldn't have beaten us anyway.

The "take less than 12 shots" metric is more interesting/fair.

Those games are:
vs. Holy Cross -- blow out, nothing to take from it.

@ West Virginia -- which, if I remember correctly, was a total mess. Jenkins played 21 minutes and fouled out. Alleyne + Taylor had big clutch moments at the end of the game for us to win it.

vs. Xavier -- only played 22 minutes, fouled out. I didn't watch this game so I won't pretend to know what happened, but I do know it was a wire-to-wire victory.

vs. Villanova -- great win at MSG, team looked poised and cohesive on offense.

vs. DePaul -- blow out, nothing to take from it.

Xavier, Holy Cross, WV, and Sacred Heart were the wins.

He played 24 of the first 30 minutes against Michigan until he sat out the last 10 or so after they went up 20.

I’d like to point out that him getting beaten literally every play by McDaniel was the main reason we went down 20.

Back to the Seton Hall thread...... Let's beat them not for nothing else but to avenge the horrible smackdown at The Pru and for us Jersey Johnnies who run into Seton Hall fans.

We have good young coaches in the Big East English and Hollaway are two, Smart isn't that young but he's good. With his resume though I would have bet on CRP over most other BE coaches if not all.

What is the famous quote about an Elite coach: "He can beat you with his players and if you switched places, he could beat you with your players". That hasn't materialized.

CRP: beat Shaheen who has not established that he is an Elite level coach, at least not yet.

To be fair, as bleak as the at large chances are it is still far more likely than this team winning the BET
Oh, I'm sure of that. But I think bailing on the team before you absolutely have to is really weird. Are they trying to beat the traffic home? Catch the last train out of Penn?

I'd hate to be friends with some of these guys if I ever hit a rough patch. Is everything in their lives as disposable as a team you supposedly love?

Man has that saying been bastardized not to mention bitch slapped. Goes back to at least being said about Paul Bear Bryant and goes like this: He can take hisin and beat yourin and he can take yourin and beat hisin. You’re welcome. 😉😊🤣
