But this will go on from some of these folks until every one of last year's players, possible players, and rumored to once have passing interest in SJU players exhaust all their eligibility. So be excited for the posts lamenting the loss of Harrison Reede in 2028. They will be non-stop.

Interesting question posed by Gary Parrish of the Eye on College Basketball Podcast this morning when talking about the Seton Hall v St. John's game. He said the committee always makes note of a game outcome if a key player is missing. In this instance it was not only Jordan Dingle but Rick Pitino and he was pondering if the committee would make note that Pitino was absent for the game when looking at the body of work when the time comes potentially - essentially for both teams.

If they do, it hurts SH more than it helps SJU. I don’t think this loss (quad 1), moves sju more than half a seed line, likely less; but it could be a quad 1 win for SH (sju just outside top 30), so if it’s devalued could push them down a line. Hopefully it doesn’t matter for either team.
