@Seton Hall, Tue., Jan. 16, 8:30p, FS-1

Ledlum is very important guy especially for his rebounding and aggressive play. I understand he still is hurting, but he’s willing to get out there and bang. The way he plays, he may be at this level of health for good part of the season.
said this exact thing on the podcast, I was annoyed he wasn't more aggressive on offense against Creighton. Hope that changes against Hall who will try and out tough us and be physical. They don't have anything special in the paint - I hope we play through Joel and Chris drives a lot

It's surprising but we are more talented and have the size advantage with our forwards. Now that we have Pitino, we will never ever have to go into a game again and not have the coaching advantage.

They've won a lot of their BE games with close margins. Seems like the analytics, AP voters, and Vegas all think that is coming to an end.

Mean Gene in Johnny red is extremely confident we pick up a W tomorrow & cover

lol 😂!!! I’m not only on the ledge already regarding tomorrow’s game Paultz but I’m leaning over the edge and looking down. Huge game in my opinion. I’m not going to post the entire game. I’m too jacked up. I’ll post afterwards.

I projected me on to you Gene, equally nervous 🤞

KenPom - 75-74 SJU (50%, true PK)
Bart - SJU -3.4
Haslam - SJU - 0.29
EvanMiya - SJU -1

No surprise the line opened where it did

Just can’t figure this out about Taylor. He had some good scoring games in none conference and always seemed to hit a big three when necessary….see Utah game. And last year he averaged double digits in scoring. Why such hesitation?????????????
His usage was way higher last year because his team was terrible. He's also way more efficient this year because he's not forced to take or create shots that don't fit his game. Plus, the scouting report on him earlier this season was that he's a slasher and to let him shoot the 3. Since he's made 43% to start the season teams are closing out on him harder so he hasn't had the open 3s teams were living with in Nov and Dec.

I'd much rather him keep playing the way he's been playing than start jacking up forced shots and watch his efficiency numbers crater.

Is there any inside info on why he hasn't been planning as much? I really hate that the beat writers are dismissive about asking this question because it really doesn't make sense from an on-the-court, in-the-game perspective.

He's been super efficient, one of our better defenders even when we were a bad defensive team, and gives us size.

I feel very good about Johnnies here -1 or better.

I think there is a good chance we win this by double digits.
I’m not saying we won’t win but Seton Hall has played the best teams in the conference already and haven’t lost by double digits. This will be a one or two possession game.
