Nice strategy by the coaching staff. Didn't think we could win this game but did it without relying upon 3 and the aggressive D/hands. FT shooting despite the huge disparity in attempts, was great.

Good team win. Loved Tariq Owens today. He improves by the minute. Baby steps for this team. We are plus 5 in BE play verse last season.
 
Great game. Very strange about Ellison though. Agree he didn't play well in first half, but was surprised to see Amar and Mussini get late minutes over him in second half.
 
This is one win I wanted soooo badly! Great effort by everyone, including Ponds staying out of foul trouble after two early ones. Next, what I want most is a first-game win (whether it's in the first or second round) in in the BE tournament.
 
Mullen is getting his coaching legs and the kids are buying into Mullin's system.

Next season may be interesting.

I'm about to go over to the Seton Hall Rivals forum ... where I'm going to relish their eating crow and, of course, bashing of Willard.
 
Surprised he has been giving it to you for years, as opposed for "one year". They had a tremendous run last season and winning a BE title was great for their program, but Lavin's 5 years blow Willard's first 5 away, and the Hall did nothing until year 6. Now a team of upperclassmen, in a must win game for them, just got schooled by a unit comprised of kids and first year players.

Congrats to the team and staff on a very important win. A Win for this season as we continue to show improvement while the Hall trends in the opposite direction and this is key for recruiting as we will be going head to head with them for recruits over the next few seasons.
Never really believed we would improve so much from one season to the next in BE play.

This was a matchup where he should have been a key ingredient. Instead he comes out looking like he's in a sugar coma when this was a game that needed 40 minutes of effort not stupid fouls and lazy passing. Fortunately Amar played well. Mussini mixed bag but hit his FTs got 2 boards and a steal.
 
By the way watching Kentucky versus Bama.

Great win today. Every game a more complete team effort and we didn't shoot particularly well today. Owens and Yakwe emerging has helped a ton, and it was without Williams. 5 games left, and we've already beaten 3 of those teams. We are playing our best ball right now. Gotta keep up the momentum. 5th in the Big East currently.
