Coach Anderson is a total gentlemen but when you watch his half court offense, his time outs, his in game decisions and the players body language they are totally lost. The fans and the university deserve better. Father Shanley is a basketball guy and don’t think will put up with this much longer. Time to move on. Make an assistant coach for remainder of year. Bring in Pitino on 3 year deal but must bring young associate head coach with in to take over seamlessly when ready. The time is now. Make the

What a f ing embarrassment. The writing was on the wall last year but the Anderson apologists made every excuse in the world for Anderson’s ineptitude. Here he losses to a rookie coach and an 0-3 Big East team.

They need to ship out Anderson and Cragg on the same bus at seasons end. Let’s hope the brain(less) trust is already making inroads of interest for prospective coaches. This was just awful.

Yup. I’m afraid we’ve become irrelevant and it feels…so sad.

I try to be a positive poster (and person) and I know I’ve bothered a bunch of posters when I tried to keep things positive but…I’ve got nothing right now. Absolutely nothing. We’re cooked and there’s no way to sugar coat it. We stink.
Become?

Agree. No need to fire a respected/veteran coach four games into the conference season. Let him finish out the season and respectfully part ways afterwards.
On the flip side it is early enough for a turnaround and if that happens no one will care about firinga well respected coach

Absolutely should not fire well-regarded veteran coach four games into Big East season. Would make us more of a dysfunctional laughing stock. Poor post
That’s a legitimate point. Anderson should resign on his own initiative.
But assuming he doesn’t, we could lose pieces with future potential. Players like Gardner and Storr
may reassess their role assuming there would be no change next year.
A lot has to happen out of public view to salvage next year. This year is clearly a loss already as this combination of staff and players lack the essential elements to transform themselves on the fly.
