The Hall is not as bad as their 0-3 states. They lost a close game at Xavier and play good defense and very hard for their coach.

We better come prepared with a solid game plan cause losing to a rookie coach who has not had a chance to recruit would not be great for the St. John’s program for a multitude of reasons.

Holloway ain't a rookie coach (spare me, he's a rookie coach because it's his first year in the Big East) and he has decent ball players at his disposal.

Let me clarify it. Rookie coach at this level of competition on a regular basis. From a mid major to a power conference. He may have decent players at his disposal but he’s only had one short recruiting cycle to get them in whereas our staff has had 4 cycles.

Yes on paper St. John’s in year 4 under a coach should beat seton hall in year 1 under a coach.

But xavier is on year 1 of a coach too and it clearly didn’t matter.

So who knows anymore

That's all irrelevant based on what I stated previously.
 
We're probably going to be favored in this game. It's just a matter of how much. The Hall is hungry for a win and see us as raw meat for them. This will be a grind it out game but I think that we have a chance to win.
As for CMA, after last night's debacle and listening in on the coaching, I'm on the short list for Pitino. Who cares how old he is? Hey, Coach K is 75!
