Yes or bench the player. It's not complicated. Have you asked if he has lost the team ?

he recruited them. It's the coaches responsibility to recruit kids and inspire them. If 1 kid is lazy and everyone else hustles that's on the 1 kid. If everyone is lazy that's on the coach. This applies to any coach in any sport. And it applies to anyone in any management position. If everyone who you are in charge of iz lazy then you aren't a good manager.

I'm not even saying if Lavin is good or bad because I want him to succeed in the worst way because I think he is a great guy. But if the kids are lazy that's on him
