Seton Hall Game

You certainly are and I said as much even you read my retort and no one, especially here, has ever called me a homer.
I should be honored but I am too brutally honest to ever be a homer.

No, just brutal. Or in the words of Thomas Hobbes, nasty, brutish and short.

Some Seton Hall fans are not happy with the game being at CA, funny seeing how irritated some of them get.

So funny reading their posts. But there were a couple of level-headed Hall fans who gave solid reasons why we're not playing them at the Garden.

I don't know this for a fact, it's just my opinion, but I would think that playing Creighton, Butler and Xavier at MSG over the Hall and Providence, was more of an enticement to those three schools for joining the BE. Let them experience playing in the Garden, since the Hall and Providence have been doing it for years. Just MHO.

I am impressed by how many posters they have. I don't know too many Seton Hall fans.

Hello TIF,

Trust all is well.

One thing to keep in the equation is that SH actually brings fans to either MSG or CA.

I don't expect many fans (in comparison with SH) of Creighton, Xavier or Butler will be attending a REGULAR SEASON game vs SJU.

It's fun watching delusional fans go off the rails on an internet message board.

Yeah! That would never happen on a fine, sophisticated site like redmen.com where sanity and order rule the day and chivalry thrives! :)

You have to agree with them on one thing. Carnessecca Arena is a 1950's dump even with the renovations. An oversized HS gyms is dead on accurate assessment.

Look at Cuse they got the dome and now they are tearing it down to build something newer and better.
Carrier Dome was opened in 1980
Carnessecca was opened in 1961

Yes, we have the Garden but Carnessecca has to be demolished and built back up, its a running joke even for students and alumni. We are lucky to have Taffnner if not recruits wold probably laugh and run for the hills as soon as they see Carnessecca. Take a look at the IMG Academy's basketball court, that alone put CA to shame.

I agree but it's funny to hear Seton Hall fans make fun of Carnesecca Arena. We have a palace compared to Walsh Gym, their on campus arena. The 3 worst on campus arenas in the Big East have to Seton Hall, Providence & Georgetown. I don't think they can even play conference games in their.

@SOrangeJuice: A little surprising, Seton Hall opens as 5 point underdogs in Queens tomorrow evening vs the winless Johnnies. #shbb #stjbb
